Leslie Spak is an independent artist. She uses different art media and techniques such as embroidery, photography, drawing and mixed media .
The topics she reflects on are diverse, but family heritage and queer identity stand out. Her work is part of private collections in Peru, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, Canada, England and Singapore, among other places.
In 2016, the Argentine publishing house La Luminosa published Sangre, Leslie´s first photo book, which today is part of many libraries around the world, as Folio and Hydra in Mexico, Foto Colectania Foundation in Spain, PRINTED MATTER, INC. in the United States, The Photographers Gallery in England, Loporello in Italy, and Turma and FoLa in Argentina.
She currently lives and works in Lima, Peru.
